Potatoe Competition

This annual competition starts at the AGM in March of each year, when you can buy 6 sets, currently £2.00, they are then planted in well cultivated and manured ground and lovingly watered and fed throughout the summer, then on the first Sunday in October your potatoes are lifted and weighed, with luck your investment will pay off handsomely and you will win a prize for either the Best Total Overall Weight or Heaviest Single Potato.

It's not uncommon to achieve over 120 lbs from those 6 sets or even in excess of 3lbs 4ozs for the heaviest single.

Collect your set at the AGM on March 20th this year.
