Lamb Chops
During the dry spell of Spring 2011, a friend of mine enquired how some of my seedlings were coming along, to which I replied - not a sausage has come up so far, although my arms were about 6 inches longer from carrying cans of water. She replied that she had not grown sausages before and wondered how I got on. I said that I had abondoned that idea and sown some Lamb Chop seeds instead which were doing rather well, and were poking their heads up as chop-sticks.
I have included a picture on the right of my row of chop-sticks in the foreground. Rumour has it that chop-sticks growing on the allotment help to ward off giraffes which can be quite a nuisance, but I am not sure that it is working.
